In 2024, we will, as Americans, have to make a choice between a democracy and an authoritarian government basically run by morons.
I hope this is a wake up call, because our lives and our future seems to depend on the voting bloc of 18 to 30 year olds. I hope they look around at the world we're in and realize we can and should do much better.
A vote for democracy has never been more important. There will be all kinds of shenanigans in this election, like Joe Manchin running as an indepedent to split the democratic vote and insure the authoritarians gain control. I can only hope that the younger generations realize what a nightmare we're in with climate change, infrastructure and how we are a beacon of hope for the rest of the world. Under Donald J. Trump, we were a laughing stock, and we deserved it. Don't let this happen again.
