Political Runs

Tom Barrett throwing his hat in the ring in the recall election of Scott Walker.  I respect Kathleen Falk, immensely, but I live in Milwaukee, and I have seen the dedication of Mayor Barrett in the face of tremendously adversarial conditions, like having to work with then County Executive Scott Walker.  Mayor Barrett managed to save this city from the near death experience Walker tried to invoke.  Barrett:  he's intelligent.  He's experienced.  Both eyes work.  'Nuff said.

There was a whisper somewhere that Mitt Romney might pick Wisconsin's most loyal Nazi, Paul Ryan, as his running mate.  Paul Ryan.  The Man Without An Ounce of Compassion.  Paul Ryan.  Get Freakin' Serious.  What is this country on?  Meth?  Better hope not; no chance for dental insurance under these two carpet baggers.   Of course, this pairing could spell a landslide for Obama.  Romney Ryan.  Sounds like a cheap case of pi$$ poor rum.

Why America Fails Continuously

When a principal of a school can't spell insubordination, is it any wonder that people are graduating from high school who can't read or write?

We're a nation of dummies.

And the dummies are running the show.

Yes, I'm guilty of insupordination (sic) because I have no respect for educators who can't educate, leaders who can't lead and morons who don't recognize themselves.

The Farmer in the Dell

Alas, more Scott Walker staffers are now under investigation.  My question, when does the cheese stand alone?

I appreciate how thorough the Milwaukee County District Attorney is being with regard to Scott Walker's County administration.....but face it, everyday this pawn of the wealthy sits in Madison's capitol is a day to rue.

It is so important to me to have Wisconsin return to its democratic roots, and to oust the republicans from power in Madison.  The Walker administration has the judicial Midas touch -- everything they touch turns to a lawsuit which ends up costing the citizens of Wisconsin more money, not to mention capturing the attention of the entire country.  That they try to blame this waste of money on democrats is laughable and annoying at the same time.

I'm going to New Orleans for a spring vacation soon.....not exactly an exemplary city of good politics, but I still look forward to it.  Is there a city in the United States that could be an example for the rest of us?  I'd truly like to believe we're not all living in Corruptionville, but it's getting harder and harder.

Dick Cheney Gets a Heart?

Seriously?

Dick Cheney jumps to the head of the heart transplant list?  A fascist, heartless, old rich white S.O.B.  warmonger like Dick Cheney getting a heart when decent, coronary diseased people everywhere have to suffer and wait awhile longer?

Dick Cheney didn't need a heart; he needed a brain.

Gees.  Now I've heard everything.  What's next?

Scott Walker getting testosterone to solve his mommy complex?

Wisconsin Supreme Court Judge David Prosser getting wrestling lessons (with special emphasis on choke holds)?

Rick Santorum getting a vasectomy so he can't reproduce?

Newt Gingrich sent to obedience school to train the dog out of him?

I'm sorry.  These are America's politicians, and is this the kind of barrel bottom scraping that we have come to accept as, well, acceptable?

Please, get me out of this country.  I feel as pathetic as the republican slate of candidates.

The Sad Case of Scott Walker

The voter I.D. law is stopped via injunction.

The redistricting maps, drawn by republican legislators, have been deemed a sham and thrown out.

Is there anything Scott Walker or his cronies can do that isn't completely full of illegalities?  Seriously?  Do Wisconsinites need any more proof that the lunatic is running the asylum?  I know I don't.

And while I'm ranting, I couldn't help but notice that the women in Scott Walker's administration all  look old and matronly.  The only women Scott Walker can relate to are "mommy" or "grandma" types.  This guy is seriously impaired when it comes to relationships with women.  I guess he deals with that by trying to trample the rights of any woman younger than 50.  Surrounding himself with AARP centerfolds seems to be his answer to equal opportunity.  What a disappointing love life Scott Walker must have led in his youth to make him the misogynist he is.

Anyhow, it's spring in Wisconsin and the recall election is just a few short months away.  Don't send Scott Walker any money to fight the recall.  He tried a coup and thought of himself as presidential material.  If that's not insane, I don't know what is.   Do NOT support your local lunatic.

Spring Fever with a little Trepidation

Well, my magnolia tree is blooming.  My daffodils are up.  The tulips are a foot high.  The lilacs are budding.  The apple tree is coming to life and the wild roses are as green as can be.  It's March 20, 2012.  Like many Wisconsinites, I am relishing in our two months ahead of schedule spring.  Temperatures have been inching toward 80 degrees for two weeks in a row.  We've broken all kinds of weather records.

I love this early respite from the winter that failed to materialize here in Wisconsin this year.  But, I am afraid what all this might mean.  The scientists say that we will reach a tipping point wherein global warming cannot be reversed.  So does all this early life mean our planet is facing certain death?  The right wing would have you believe otherwise, because to believe in global warming means that we must act right now.  To act right now would be costly to multinational corporations, who, in fact, have contributed the most to the decline of nature here on earth.

Certainly, it would be easy to chalk up all these changes so noticeable here in Wisconsin to a fluke, a nice oddity, anything  but the reality of global warming.  But the reality of global warming seems to be upon us.  The question is, what will we do about it?  No one seems to know.

Prosser Faces Ethics Charges

Isn't it satisfying that Supreme Court Justice David Prosser is now facing ethics charges for putting a fellow Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice in a choke hold.

He also called the chief judge a "bitch".

Both of these Prosser victims were women.

Supreme Court.

Judge.

Part of Walker's Totalitarian Takeover of the State of Wisconsin.

Prosser --- scared to death of women and their bodies (especially the reproductive parts).  This bitch on a bus thinks castration is too good for him.  He needs a lobotomy.  Now.  Free lobotomies to all republicans.

And as long as I'm on a roll here, let's talk about Oil Can Scotty's latest television commercial where he says he balances the state budget.   We are at the bottom of the national dung pile when it comes to jobs lost.  Yet, there is the bald, lazy-eyed son-of-a-bitch touting his record.  He claims he is moving Wisconsin forward (in jobs lost, maybe), and that all you have to do is look at the unemployment record to see how successful he is.  Face it.  People in Wisconsin have used up their unemployment benefit, or have just simply given up looking for a job because there aren't any jobs to be found.  Walker's comparing horse$hit and bat guava.  But what would you expect from a moron?  I even have to give Walker credit in that he is the highest ranking mentally challenged person I've ever seen, at least since Ronald Reagan.  We ought to send him some Cosmo Kramer basketball jump shoes to complete the picture of the perfect Idiot.

Anyhow, it's politics here as usual in Wisconsin, although 76 degrees on St. Patrick's Day is anything but usual.  But, according to the republicans, (maybe we should change their name to repubicans, since they seem to have fallen off some big hairy thing's sweaty, smelly groin) there is no global warming.

To all my Irish friends, Happy St. Pat's!  May your glass be raised to the Emerald Isle on this fine day.  Wish I was in Dingle!

More Oil Can Scotty Legislation in the Courts

Well, the highly restrictive voter I.D. law that Walker and his droogs managed to put into law, has now been stopped, via judicial system and two, count 'em, two injunctions.  This legislation did violate the Wisconsin constitution, but when did that ever stop Walker and his droogs from passing biased laws to further their cause.

What is their cause?  To prevent voters from poor neighborhoods from voting.  By doing so, they have an unimpeded opportunity to trample disenfranchised people several ways.

The powerful thugs who make up Scott Walker's administration are going to see the error of their ways, via recall elections.  Every republican senator up for recall SHOULD be recalled.  That's, frankly, too good for them.  They should also be prevented from ever holding public office again.  That fate certainly should belong to Oil Can Scotty, too.  Of course, anyone with half a mind wouldn't touch Walker with a ten foot voting ballot.

And just as an afterthought, judges generally vote in elections.  We don't have ANY right to ask them who they voted for before we ask them to recuse themselves from a case.   So if they signed a recall petition, it's none of our business.  It is public record, but it doesn't have ANYTHING to do with the ability to fairly adjudicate legal cases according to the letter of the law.  The republican legislators in our state have proven themselves to be little less than totalitarian dictators, happy to stomp the rights of people they deem "less worthy".

As I've said before, everything Oil Can Scott tries to legislate ends up in the courts, ends up costing taxpayer dollars and ends up stinking almost as mightily as Herr Governor himself.

Is is possibly true that America is a land of fools governed by bigger fools?  It certainly seems so in Wisconsin.

Walker's Legal Defense Fund

Walker, despite proclaiming that he is not under investigation for campaign violations, has set up a legal defense fund.  It's like hiring a lawyer two weeks before your wedding to handle your divorce.  If Walker is innocent and not the target of the investigation, then why set up a legal defense fund?  Poor Scotty.  Even his criminal activity is amateur.  I'd love to see this S.O.B. with a number on his back.  Can you imagine a disgraced governor in Columbia Correctional?  He won't have an easy time.  Of course, no inmate does, but hey, he could at least finish his degree.  He could also get a first hand lesson in how cutting DOC's budget created problems he hadn't thought of.  Walker seems to learn everything the hard way, if he learns anything at all.  One wonders.

Walker stinks.  His administration stinks.  And he's stinking up Wisconsin so bad, we all have to hold our noses.  On the bright side, a stinking Wisconsin could keep the summer FIB population down.  For those of you unfamiliar with the term, a FIB is a F*cking Illinois Bastard who spends summer in Wisconsin because Illinois is just about as boring as plain yogurt (except Chicago).

I have to laugh at all the people who are standing with Walker.  How are you going to spin  an indictment?  Shame on you.  Have you no dignity?  As I've said before, stand with Walker, walk away with scabies.

WE Energies CEO Makes Big Bucks Off Your Monthly Sweat To Cover Your Utility Bill

The CEO of WE Energies makes $11,346,447 per year.  That's not including his stock options and awards.

He got a $1.3 million dollar raise from what he was making last year.

Does this nauseate anyone, or am I alone in my disgust for these greedy whores?

How many of you shiver when the utility bill from WE Energies lands in your mailbox; feeling sick as you open it, wondering how simple things like light and heat can cost you so much money.  Truth is, they don't.  WE Energies is a monopoly, in bed with the Public Service Commission, and they can gouge to their heart's delight without any repercussions.

I wish I had an answer to this kind of manipulation from corporations, but I don't.  I do have a few thoughts about WE Energies though.

1.  They suck.  Blood.  Your blood.

2.  They break the law all the time.  See current articles about how they broke the law with their retaining ponds at their Oak Creek power plant.  They'll get fined, but hey, when you can pay your CEO millions, and you can give him a raise of a million over last year's salary, what the HELL do they care?  They're rolling in cash.  Yours.  While you struggle to put hot dogs on the dinner table.

3.  They're the only game in town, so you really have no choice but to let them unfairly charge you for energy use.

I look forward to the day when we won't need corporations like this around anymore.  I look forward to the day when WE Energies is left out in the cold, completely in the dark.

Better days are coming.  For us little folk.  I think the corporate greed bubble is about to burst and what a happy day it will be for all of us.

Sheriff Clarke Above Reproach?

Well, Sheriff Clarke, who kind of hogs the lemon-light of bad press, has come under scrutiny for his use of federal forfeiture funds.

There are strict guidelines regarding the expenditure of monies under this program; and Clarke swears he is just a victim (again) of the County Board and the County Executive on a witch hunt.

Mayhaps.  But then why, I have to beg the question, did Clarke's Chief Financial Officer retire a few days ago?  Coincidence?  Bad Timing?  Stay tuned for a possibly odorous audit.

Swingin' Cat Walker

You can't swing a cat these days without hitting television and radio waves announcing the great job Scott Walker is doing as Governor of Wisconsin.

Yet, we are number one in jobs lost.  Wisconsin's economy is simply not recovering.  Of the promised 250,000 jobs that failed to materialize, Scott Walker is still blowing his horn.  Or blowing something.  Based on the size of his delusion, someone should see if there's a meth lab operating in Maple Bluff.

Why do Scott Walker and the Koch Brothers, and all the other one per centers think the people of Wisconsin are stupid?  Probably because we are.  We elected this wretch of a human being, after all.  GOPPERs are stupid by nature, but the democrats who didn't vote in Wisconsin's most important election are equally stupid.  The one per centers are banking on our continued stupidity (combined with whatever other underhanded methods they can illegally legislate) to keep this horse's a$$ in power, despite his many failures.

On the bright side, it's so DANG fun to watch the Koch Brothers and other uber rich people pour their ill-gotten monies into this recall election.    Nothing makes me happier than watching the rich lose money!

Why is America SOOOO Bi-Polar?

I can't help but notice that two out of every ten people I cross paths with these days has either bi-polar disorder or some other personality disorder that makes it impossible to want to be around them.

Is it the water?  Have we put enough plastic processing by-products into our drinking supply that some of us turn up with major brain disorders?

Is it the air?  Is America's air so tainted, it's choking off the oxygen supply to our brain?

Is it the food we eat, which, if you're not eating organic, is completely tainted with chemicals?

Or is it just that America's karma is being leveled, and instead of being the powerful meanies of the big, bad world, we're now just the powerless victims of our self-created mental illness?

Whatever it is, what a screwed up place to live.  I'd like to go to Ireland.  Weather is not the best, but the people are quite lovely.

I'd like to go to Belize.  I've never been a place quite like it, where poor people are about ninety times happier and nicer than most Americans.

I'd like to go to Costa Rica.  The only crazy there seems to be the ex-pats who drive like coked up $hitheads.

Well, dreams are free.  I am open to offers of making my dreams a reality.

The GOP (Greatly Opposed to Progress) Last Ditch Attempts to Ruin Wisconsin

Can you believe the nonsense the GOP engages in.  Scott Walker relaxing wetland rules to encourage business development?  We have no greater asset than Wisconsin's wonderful natural resources, but like everything else associated with Walker, he thinks he can turn it into money by destroying it.

This party is seriously on the brink of utter insanity.  Remember that when you go to the polls.
