I have to say that the teachers at Newtown showed incredible bravery protecting the children at that school. The school principal and psychologist did not run from the gunfire, they ran towards it. And the other teachers who died after hiding the children. It is so sad to think that teachers have been demonized as union thugs in Wisconsin over the past few years. My wife taught elementary school for 30 years and I know that she would have done everything possible to protect the children she loved.
Yes, I agree with you. The demonization of teachers here in Wisconsin is disgustingly political, brought to you by Scott Walker. Unfortunately, until our entire population gets smarter, we're stuck with morons like Scott Walker in positions of power.
